We are just a few days into being live — and there’s already momentum. Here are a few things we’re excited to share:
✅ Our first booking is in! A real stay, booked by a real guest, hosted by a real human — all through Jeurney. Not a test. Not a drill. But a real booking. It’s a small but important milestone, and we’re so glad you’re with us!
💬 EUReka is live — our 24/7 chatbot We’ve launched Eureka, our always-available support assistant. It can answer common questions about listings, bookings, policies, and more — all based on our FAQ, privacy policy, and terms. Eureka is still learning so let us know via our contact form if there are questions that Eureka can't answer yet. Eureka is happy to try answering your questions in other languages than English. Give it a try! Find the link to Eureka at the top of the FAQ page. It’s a simple, fast way to get help when you need it. And yes, it’s named after that moment when things finally click.
📰 We’ve been in the media! This weekend, Politiken ran a piece on Jeurney and what we’re trying to do differently. Then, InsideFlyer covered our launch and how we fit into the future of fairer travel. Turistmonitor somehow picked up the news too. We’re incredibly proud to see our story gaining attention.
✍️ Better contact. Better FAQ. We’ve improved our contact form, so you can now:
- Suggest a feature
- Report a bug
- Request account deletion (but why would you?)
- reach out with feedback
- enjoy an expanded FAQ to better reflect the questions you’re actually asking.

09 May - and we're live!
Europe Day means Launch Day!
Today is May 9th – Europe Day - and just as promised, we’re thrilled to announce that Jeurney is now fully live!
You can now:
✅ Sign up as a guest or host
✅ Browse listings
✅ Make bookings
✅ Send messages
✅ Leave reviews after a stay
✅ Get paid (if you’re a host!)
We have had a great deal of interest ahead of the opening, but as we have only just opened the doors earlier today, it’s no surprise that we only have a handful of listings at this point.
Jeurney.com is a robust site with all the basic features - now the real fun begins! More upcoming features are in the pipeline, but today we’re pausing to enjoy the moment. Thank you for being part of it 👍🏻

04 May - a quiet launch!
As a recipient of our newsletter, we promised that you'd be the first to know. Now you're the first to know.
This afternoon, we went live, very quietly. As mentioned in the last newsletter, it is now possible to sign up as a user and we encourage you to do so if you have an interest in becoming a host or a guest.
As a host you can already now create and view your own listing(s), but we're not yet ready for general browsing of listings or creation of bookings. That will have to wait until 9th of May, launch day 🚀
We're still polishing the information on the site, so bear with us if there's a typo here and there.

26 April - Getting closer
We’re getting closer.
On May 9th – Europe Day, we’ll officially launch Jeurney.com: a fair-priced non-US alternative to the short-term rental platforms you already know.
We’re doing things a little differently since some of the more established platforms have a 15+ years head start on us. We think it is better to launch something that works — and improve it with real feedback — than wait forever trying to perfect it.
So, on launch day, Jeurney.com will support:
- Host and guest accounts
- Listings
- Availability search
- Bookings
- Messaging
- Reviews
- Payments and payouts
Just enough to get going — with real people, real bookings, and real-world feedback. But we’re not stopping there.
After launch, we’ll continue building — based on what hosts and guests need most. Some of what’s in the pipeline:
- Flexible, calendar-based pricing tools, with the option of setting different prices on popular days, and lower on others
- Multiple languages and currencies
- Booking overviews for hosts, to quickly see when your listing is booked – or not.
- Tax reporting integrations, where applicable
- Voucher systems for promotions and support
- Migration support, to bring over reviews and profiles from other platforms …and more!
All of this will be self-funded and guided by the community — through actual usage, not outside investors. We’ll grow slowly and responsibly. And yes, our fees will remain low, so more stays in the host’s pocket, not ours.
Pre-launch for hosts – opening soon!
Before May 9th, we’ll be opening the platform for free to hosts who want to get their listings ready early. That means more places to stay on launch day, and more momentum from the start.

jeurney.com launching on Europe Day: A fair-priced platform for short-term rental
A new platform for short-term rental is set to launch on 9 May 2025 (Europe Day).
jeurney.com offers a fair-priced, and digitally independent alternative in the accommodation space. Built for independence, powered by people! jeurney.com is dedicated to digital independence, fair pricing, and people-powered travel. It’s time to move away from the monopolies and toward something better.
At launch, jeurney.com will introduce a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with the essential features needed for a complete hosting and booking experience: host and guest accounts, listings, availability search, bookings, reviews, messaging, payments, and payouts. Additional features will follow based on community feedback.
